Neurology consultation services are provided by Dr. Aung, Dr. Hummer, and Dr. Wingrove, as board certified neurologists. They treat a broad range of neurological disorders, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, neuromuscular syndromes, headaches, peripheral neuropathies, among others.

Electromyography (EMG)

In our office, we provide EMGs. Dr. Aung is board certified in electromyography by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. This procedure tests your muscle and nerve function to evaluate for a variety of neuromuscular disorders. For further information and to schedule the test, please contact us.

EMG-guided Chemodenervation

Dr. Aung also provides EMG-guided chemodenervation onsite at ANI. This procedure involves use of botulinum toxin (Botox and Myobloc) to treat various disorders involving stroke-related muscle spasticity and certain movement disorders. Video Electroencephalography (EEG)

Comprehensive quality care is exactly what it means. At ANI, we also do video EEG studies. This is a procedure is needed to make diagnosis of complicated seizure disorders. In this test, your brain waves are being recorded. An excellent certified EEG technologist will perform the study. After the results are reviewed by your neurologist, he/she will go over the results and treatment plan with you and your primary care provider.
